Most floral studios in Colorado lean toward the same aesthetic. Soft, neutral, muted tones that look nice and blend into the background without asking anyone to stop and really look. Petal & Flourish is not that.
Based in Longmont, Petal & Flourish is a floral design studio built around a simple idea: arrangements should feel like art. Not background decor, not something that matches the tablecloth, but something that makes you feel something when you walk into the room or pick up the bouquet or pass the storefront window.
What The Studio Offers
Petal & Flourish works across four main areas. Wedding and event florals run from year round and cover everything from bridal bouquets and personal florals to full ceremony installations and reception design. Fresh and dried flower delivery serves customers throughout Boulder County, with a subscription option for bi-weekly and monthly deliveries launching soon for people who want flowers showing up on a regular schedule. The mobile bouquet bar brings an interactive floral experience to weddings, private parties, corporate events, and other gatherings, with options ranging from self-guided bouquet making to hosted experiences and private flower arranging classes. And custom silk floral installations — permanent or long-term pieces designed for homes and commercial spaces — have become one of the most distinctive parts of what the studio does.
The Design Style
The work at Petal & Flourish is colorful, bold, and deliberately different from what most florists in the Colorado market are producing. Vibrant color palettes, unexpected bloom combinations, interesting vessels, statement pieces with real texture and movement. The studio is drawn to designs that stop people, not designs that blend in, and that shows in everything from a wedding arch to a single arrangement delivered to someone's front door.
High-end, realistic silk botanicals get combined with foraged natural elements like dried grasses, seed pods, and preserved foliage to create installations that feel organic and artistic rather than artificial. The goal is always the same: build something memorable.
Custom Silk Floral Installations for Homes and Businesses
One of the more unique offerings at Petal & Flourish is large-scale custom silk floral installations. These are pieces designed for storefronts, interior walls, ceilings, entrances, and residential spaces, built to last and built to make an impression. For businesses that want a year-round visual statement or a seasonal display that holds up through an entire holiday run without any maintenance, a custom installation is a serious option worth looking into.
Mobile Bouquet Bar for Parties & Corporate Events
Petal & Flourish brings interactive floral experiences to weddings, bridal showers, corporate events, private parties, and celebrations throughout Colorado. The mobile bouquet buffet can be set up as a self-guided experience where guests choose from an abundant selection of fresh, seasonal flowers and create their own wrapped bouquets, or Murr can stay on-site to guide guests through stem selection and bouquet making. For groups looking for something more hands-on, Petal & Flourish also offers private flower arranging classes, with the flowers, vessels, tools, and floral mechanics provided for guests to create a complete arrangement from start to finish. Each experience can be tailored to the size, setting, and style of the event, with travel available beyond the Longmont area.
This Summer: Pop-Up Markets
While wedding season winds down, Petal & Flourish will be at several pop-up markets across Colorado this summer with fresh arrangements, bouquets, and dried florals available on-site. It is a good chance to see the design work in person and talk through anything you have coming up. Follow along on Instagram for dates and locations as they get confirmed.
